Legal Search & Management, Inc. has been placing
legal assistants in permanent and temporary positions since 1989.
Founded and operated by a former paralegal, Linda S. Jevahirian
quickly earned a reputation for being able to locate and identify
not just jobs, but career opportunities.
At Legal Search & Management, Inc. we help our applicants assess
their current status and make an educated decision about the next
move. Our job is to make qualified candidates aware of opportunities
as they become available, and to help them determine whether or
not they are suitable. Legal assistants who keep their antenna up
have been amazed at the results.
The real test is figuring out if a change of employment is in the
best interest of the legal assistant. It is less about moving people
from position to position and more about career placement. Being
able to determine where a person is in their profession and which
positions will offer them an opportunity to move forward is a distinct
challenge. Sometimes people think they want a new job but what we
really find out is that they are running from a situation they actually
have the power to improve.
The legal assistant field is unique in that it takes an extremely
creative effort to attain upward mobility. Most legal assistants
are convinced that they need to find a new employer in order to
progress. Sometimes this is not the case. There can be just as many
reasons to stay in a position as there are to leave. Making this
determination takes analysis and strategy and is not always an easy
task.
Candidates should keep in mind that consulting with Legal Search
& Management, Inc. does not necessarily mean changing jobs.
Sometimes it is just nice to know that there is someone who will
consider all the options before advising on the next move. We have
had some monumental success influencing the careers of our candidates. |
